SportXcel Youth Fitness Foundation
Our Mission
The SportXcel Youth Fitness Foundation is dedicated to improving children’s fitness by developing life skills that provide science-based physical education and training in youth forlifelong wellness.
The Foundation’s aims are simple:
At the invitation of Bryant Webster School and through a grant from IMA of Colorado, the Foundation is providing:

1. The program is low cost. An entire school can be supported for just $10,000! That includes the training, all equipment, the baseline and followup testing, and the professional development for the school educators. That translates to less
than $35 per child!
2. The program is effective. The SportXcel program is based in the same science used to train professional and competitive athletes,
but adapted for children and other “mere mortals”. After just 8 weeks of program training, 92% of kids demonstrate statistically significant improvement in muscular strength
and cardiovascular conditioning. Not only is the research-based SportXcel program effective in improving the strength and conditioning of schoolchildren, but the very same improvement in fitness enhances the academic performance
3. The program is sustainable without further investment. Kids enjoy the training provided by the National Academy of Sports Medicine certified
performance enhancement specialists,
and at the same time, SportXcel directs its energies towards the professional development of the school physical education teachers. By “teaching them to fish”, SportXcel empowers schools to carry the mantle in subsequent years and teach new students the research-based fitness program.
Your support is critical in addressing this community crisis. Follow the lead of IMA to provide the financial support to incorporate the SportXcel Fitness Program into the school curriculum.
Donate financial support – an entire school can be funded with just $10,000. Challenge others in your business sector to meet your commitment to our future Colorado workforce. Or, engage business partners to collectively meet the financial requirements to support a school.
Engage your employees in the school fitness activities – volunteer activity assistants encourage and inspire school children to keep active; what’s more, they set the example for other employees to “give back to the community”. If you’ve selected a school for financial support, what better way to ensure the success of the project than to engage your employees in the long-term efforts with the kids?
Sponsor a fitness challenge or event for your employees; better yet, challenge a competitor or business partner to a fitness “head to head” event to raise awareness and funds to support a school. Contact SportXcel Youth Fitness Foundation at www.SportXcel.org/ to establish an event that works for you.
